Tesla tires in Toronto and the GTA

We sell and install tires for Tesla cars, SUVs and trucks at our North York shop. Tesla vehicles are heavy and deliver instant torque, which wears tires faster, so EV-rated or XL load tires are recommended.

How to find your Tesla tire size

Check the sticker inside the driver's door frame or the code on your tire sidewall, such as 225/65R17. Different trims of the same model often use different wheel sizes, so the sticker is more reliable than the model name. You can also enter your VIN in the tire finder above.

Winter tires for your Tesla

For Ontario winters we recommend four matching winter tires, ideally on a set of steel wheels that fit your Tesla's bolt pattern. If you would rather run one set all year, ask about all-weather tires.

TPMS on Tesla vehicles

Most Tesla models sold in Canada have a tire pressure monitoring system. If your winter wheels don't have sensors, the warning light will stay on. We can tell you which sensor your vehicle needs.

Tesla tire questions

Do I need to buy tires made by the same company that supplied my Tesla originally?

No. Any tire in the correct size, load index and speed rating is suitable. Factory tires are one option among many.

Should I replace all four tires on my Tesla?

On all-wheel-drive models, yes, to keep tread depth even. On front- or rear-wheel-drive models, replacing in pairs is fine, with the newer tires on the rear axle.

Where can I check Tesla recalls?

Use the Government of Canada recalls site or the official Tesla Canada site.
